Meet Our Team

Friendly, experienced, qualified teachers help our students achieve their goals.

+ WHO ARE OUR TEACHERS

All of our teachers are native English speakers and what they share is a deep experience of teaching, a commitment to quality education and the qualifications, skills and experience which will help them deliver on that commitment.

We pride ourselves on the ability to attract and retain dedicated, skilled and motivated staff that continue to engage in further development of their own professional abilities. The staff consists of classroom teachers who are all native speakers of English. Additionally, all of our staff have lots of experience in schools, colleges and teaching in different situations, as well as training in our methods of teaching.

+ Qualifications

In addition to being native speakers with complete proficiency, all English United teachers are all experienced and qualified. They all hold professional teaching qualifications including MA TEFL, TEFL, CELTA, PGCE, amongst others.

They have extensive experience teaching both adults and children and receive ongoing training and updated resources to keep them up to date with the latest teaching methodologies.

+ Our Goal

English United teachers provide a strong practical education with an emphasis on improving confidence, fluency, literacy and communicative ability. This is done in a stimulating, caring, engaging and practical environment.

Our teachers work to create a holistic learning environment in the classroom. We create a learning environment that builds confidence, encourages creativity, and develops global citizens, while teaching English to the highest standards

Our students work hard to create global citizens by connecting Vietnam to the global village. Through the provision of excellent personalised attention and consideration, globalised education and behavioural attention and guidance we help our students on the pathway to global citizenship.

+ Beyond the Classroom

Students are nurtured throughout their development and provided with opportunities to learn and develop in confidence, teamwork, global citizenship, personal and social responsibility, self-discipline, communication and compassion.

+ Children’s Curriculum

Our comprehensive children’s curriculum is aligned with the Cambridge Young Learner’s curriculum and provides for each student’s academic , creative and emotional development. Regular testing, both standardised and teacher-based, is employed to monitor student’s progress. By taking our Cambridge-aligned courses, students are prepared for: Starters, Movers, Flyers, PTE, KEY, FCE and beyond.

Our at-home tutors enjoy the benefits of small class sizes. This affords our teachers the opportunity to provide greater individual attention to students, thus achieve significantly better outcomes than in language centres.

David Parish – Teacher

PGCE, QTS, U.K. Teacher Status (High School & College)

+ About Dave:

Dave has been teaching for decades in high schools, colleges and as a private tutor. While the books, methods and technologies he uses have changed, one thing has stayed the same: his love for teaching. Dave doesn’t just want his students to be classroom smart, he is excited to help his students succeed in the real world. That’s why he promotes speaking and listening in a fun environment where real practice is the key.

When students learn with Dave their feedback always says the same thing: Dave’s experience, his expertise and his wisdom is excpetional but, there’s something extra... What really stands out is that Dave becomes more than a teacher, a mentor and a guide – he becomes a friend.

+ Dave Says:

"My students come first. They have to love learning as much as I love teaching and there’s only one way to make sure your students love learning: you have to make the lessons engaging, interesting, fun and practically useful. How is this possible? By forming a connection with students. I want my students to learn; to do that effectively I want my students enjoy our lessons. I am always looking to see my students grow in confidence by feeling comfortable using English, both with me in their classroom and every day in their lives.

How do I make friends with my students? I share. I share my culture and experience. I’ve always been a naturally curious person, so I love to learn about other people and their experiences. My experience has shown me that learning can open the eyes of the teacher as well as the student. As long as we listen to each other and work together success will always follow."
